A calendar with a quiet but unmistakable presence. Designing Obok came with real constraints: it had to work in the most awkward spaces, sit comfortably in the most considered interiors, age well, and be made responsibly, all without sacrificing function.
The result moves easily between contemporary and traditional settings, as fitting in a busy office as in a calm living room.

Perfect size
At 132 cm (52 in) tall, Obok makes a real statement in your living space, yet at just 18 cm (7 in) wide, it makes the most of spaces other calendars can't: bay windows, between wall art, beside a door frame. Impactful presence, compact footprint.
Iconic shape
Inspired by the Barbican estate's double-arch form and named after the Slovenian word for arch, Obok's unique shape and timeless colour scheme will fit in both contemporary and traditional homes. Its format feels impactful without being imposing.
Made with intention
Printed and hand-finished in the UK in small batches, Obok is made with intention. It's printed on 170 gsm uncoated, acid-free, off-white paper for a smooth writing experience and no bleed-through.
Down to the smallest detail, such as double-sided printing and metal buckle binding, its materials are well considered to reduce waste and promote reuse. All parts of the planner (including packaging) are easily recyclable, and use no plastic or glue.
Space for your notes
Your appointments will be easy to find due to considered typographic details such as clearly highlighted weekends, months signed with both large numbers and names, and an additional yearly overview page at the back.
Each cell measures 10x3 cm (4x1 in), providing ample space for writing down things you mustn't forget.
Packaging
Obok comes rolled in a compact box to minimise shipping costs while providing sturdy protection for your planner.
The wrapper is printed on the same sheet as the planner, on what would otherwise go to waste.
A simple rectangular box is also easy to wrap, if you're considering Obok as a gift.
