The Squared desk calendar reimagines a classic. Twelve monthly cards, each with a notebook-inspired grid dividing the days into neat, writable modules, compact in format and generous in clarity. Thoughtful colour accents and typographic details guide you through the year without getting in the way.

Printed digitally on smooth recycled paper, the cards rest on a bespoke foil-printed paper stand. Efficient by design, flat-packed for gifting, and made to sit alongside the wider Squared family of desk and wall calendars.

Also available as an academic desk calendar, wall calendar, or yearly wall planner.

The Squared desk calendar is an evolution of last year's Griddle. The monthly card refill is compatible with the Griddle stand.

Print production

Made and hand-finished in the UK.

Cards

Cards printed on 250 gsm acid-free, off-white recycled paper, using vegetable-based inks, ensuring a pleasant, glare-free writing experience and no bleed-through.

Stand

Stand printed on 540 gsm Colorplan, using hot foil. The stand is flat-packed and requires assembly. The instructions are printed directly onto the stand.

This product comes flat-packed, wrapped in tissue paper and a recycled-paper-based padded sleeve. When sold wholesale, it comes in a 100% recycled kraft paper sleeve.

I can't ship to the EU. From 12 August 2026, new EU packaging rules require sellers to register as a producer separately in every country they ship to, and to appoint a local representative in each one. There is no single registration that covers the EU. For a one person studio, running four or more schemes costs more than the orders they cover.

So I am pausing direct shipping to the EU for now. It is temporary. I would rather wait until I can do this properly than pass the cost on or cut corners.

If you are in the EU and there is something you want, please get in touch. Wholesale is not affected by any of this, so if you run a shop and would like to carry the range, I would like to hear from you.

Prices

The product's compact size means it can be shipped to most UK addresses for a flat fee of £2 and to most international addresses for an equivalent of £7. Prices vary by country to reflect local taxes and delivery costs, and will be calculated at checkout.

Clearly marked weekends, a familiar week-per-row layout, and considered month names guide you through the year with ease. Each cell measures 2.5×2 cm (1×0.8 in), compact enough for any desk and clear at a glance.

Small-batch production

Printed and hand-finished in the UK in small batches, Squared makes sure nothing goes to waste. It adds a splash of colour (Orange, Tea) to your desk and complements other products from the growing Squared family.

Designed to be used

The Squared family is printed on smooth, 100% recycled paper, with both sides printed to make the most of it. No plastic or glue (even the packaging!) means easier recycling at the end of its lifecycle.

The stand is printed on beautiful, thick 540 gsm Colorplan paper. Flat-packed, it's easy to assemble, with the instructions beautifully printed directly onto the stand. No need to throw it away after one year – it should last for a couple of years; just refill the cards next year.
